Extended Care

We offer reliable coverage beyond the school day in the familiar school environment students already know. Children have time to connect with friends, play outdoors, create, read, and recharge, with programming and activities designed for their age and stage.

Extended Care is available before and after school, with morning care available from 745 am, and afternoon coverage until 6:00 pm for most students and 5:45 pm for P1. Families can use Extended Care on its own or combine it with enrichment classes to create a schedule that works for them.

Care before school requires registration for preschool, and is complimentary / drop-in for K-8. Registratio for after school care is requested so that we can plan appropriately for staffing. Families are charged based on actual Extended Care usage.

Enrichment

Our Enrichment Program gives students opportunities to pursue an interest, discover a new one, and connect with peers outside the classroom. Classes take place on the PKS campus and span a wide range of interests, including creative arts, athletics and movement, STEM, music, languages and culture, and games and strategy.

Offerings change throughout the year as we bring back student favorites and seek out new, trusted partners. Students might explore:

• Carpentry
• Chess and strategy
• Coding and robotics
• Cooking
• Gymnastics and martial arts
• Music, including violin, ukulele, and piano
• Science
• Theater
• And more

Classes are available across grade levels, with both Mandarin and English offerings.
