Throughout the week, children learn simple greetings and fun facts in Mandarin, connecting global exploration to language learning. By Friday, the class transforms into a cheerful international fair.
Week 5 (July 20-24): Animal Planet
Get ready for a wild adventure! During Animal Planet Week, campers will explore the amazing world of animals from all over the globe—on land, in the sea, and in the sky. Each day, children will learn about different animal habitats, how animals move and communicate, and what they need to survive. From pretending to stomp like elephants or slither like snakes to creating animal masks and mini habitats, this week encourages empathy, observation, and a love for living things. Animal Planet Week is all about learning through play, building teamwork, and nurturing respect for animals and the environment! 🐘🦋🦁
Week 6 (July 27-31): Math Quest Adventures
Math becomes an exciting quest filled with puzzles, patterns, building tasks, and treasure-hunt style challenges. Students work individually and in teams to complete missions that involve shapes, numbers, measurement, and logical thinking. The week transforms math into a playful adventure where every child discovers the joy of problem-solving.
Week 7 (August 3-7): Treasure Island Adventure
Ahoy, young explorers! During Treasure Island Adventure, campers will set sail on a week full of pirate-themed fun, imagination, and discovery. Children will search for hidden treasures through exciting scavenger hunts, navigate obstacle “islands,” and practice teamwork on high-seas challenges. Along the way, campers will enjoy pirate crafts like designing treasure maps, decorating pirate hats, and creating their own flags. With stories, games, and pretend play, this week encourages curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving, all while building confidence and friendship as every camper becomes part of the pirate crew on their quest for treasure!
Week 8 (August 10-14): Transportation Station
All aboard for Transportation Station! This week, campers will explore the many ways people move around their community through hands-on play, movement, and real-world experiences. Children will learn about buses, trains, bikes, and scooters, and how transportation helps people get where they need to go. A highlight of the week will be a special field trip riding MUNI or BART, where campers will learn about public transit, safety, and navigating the city. Back at camp, they’ll enjoy vehicle-themed art, building projects, and dramatic play, and the week will wrap up with an exciting bike and scooter track!
Rebound Basketball Camp (English)
Rebound Basketball Camp will emphasize basketball skills through fun activities and constructive games. Please be sure your child wears proper sports clothing and shoes, and brings a snack and water bottle. Campers will receive a Ribbon award at the end of the program. This camp will be offered to K-2 and will take place weeks 1, 3, 5, 7 and 8.
