Come travel the world with us!

Ginkgo Gala is our spring benefit, when we come together to share purpose, connection, and inspiration in support of the next generation of PKS students. Our 2024 theme is Going Global - a celebration of the richness and vitality within and beyond our community.

This year we’re taking things off campus and heading to St. Joseph’s Art Society, the fantastical event space right next door to PKS at 1401 Howard Street.

We invite you to go on an international culinary tour with food stations designed by members of the PKS community; enjoy the open bar and splendid entertainment; revel in each other’s company and meet new friends; and jump in and cheer on the generosity at the live auction.

FAQs

  • This event is for everyone! There is a pay-what-you-can ticket option ($1-$199).

  • Use Going Global as your inspiration! Your family's traditional garb, a jetset outfit from the 60’s, an ensemble that gets you spinning like a globe on the dance floor...whatever brings you joy!

  • This event is an opportunity to come together as a community, celebrate with one another, support the school’s mission, and raise funding for the Opportunity Fund, which increases access to a PKS education!

  • While we’re celebrating our students and helping raise funds for their education, this is an adults only event.

  • Feel free to invite parents of former PKS classmates! We’re all still family.

  • There are parking garages nearby (Costco and SoMa Hub Garage), and street parking may be available; however we encourage ridesharing!

  • There won’t be seated dinner service, but the venue has a delightful collection of sofas, seating nooks, chairs and benches. In the spirit of coming together, we will encourage mingling and dancing, and will offer standing tables.
