Elementary Student Support Coordinator

Stephenie is a learning specialist trained in programs for social skills development (PRT and RDI), sensory-motor integration ( MNRI, Bal-A-Vis-X, iLs, and HANDLE), and academic skills development (Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell, PACE, and Cognitive Connections Executive Functioning Training). Stephenie brings over a decade of experience serving multilingual students with ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and language processing disorders in North America and China. Prior to joining PKS, Stephenie founded Beacon Learning, a Beijing-based organization that provided customized interventions to K-12 students and trained teachers in international schools on intervention strategies and inclusivity. Previously, she launched PBL programs that North American teachers used to teach thousands of students across China in partnership with National Geographic and Codespark.

Stephenie is bilingual herself, raised splitting her time between public schools in New Orleans with Chinese school on Sundays, and spending several months each year in Beijing attending Tsinghua University Primary/Middle School. She attended Dartmouth College (BA) and Tsinghua University (MBA) and has devoted herself to providing access to high-quality education in learning centers, through ed-tech, and by partnering with schools throughout her career.
