Annual Parents Night Out Celebration

Under twinkling lights and a clear night sky, PKS parents gathered on Saturday for the annual Parents Night Out celebration. Hundreds filled the school grounds to enjoy good food, wine, and music.

Parents Night Out typically marks the kickoff of the school's "Count Me In" community building events. Old standbys like group camping, the St. Francis Wood progressive cocktail party, and PKS Night at the Rink were joined this year by new events, including a showing of the new Pixar film Coco, a Halloween party, and a Casino Night.

For the second year, the PNO committee also hosted a silent auction featuring a wide array of donated gifts: a private dinner by Gary Danko, trips to Napa and Sonoma, access to the new San Francisco Museum of Ice Cream, fitness dance classes with Admissions Director Andrea Banks, seats to 49ers and Warriors games, SF Symphony and Orpheum tickets, MasterClass passes, "Head of School for the Day" access for a child, and dozens more.

Most importantly, parents enjoyed time with one another, teachers and staff, and our incoming Head of School Chris Livaccari. We will see you again next year under the tent!
