Our elementary school admissions process has five components:

1. Attend a General Information Session. You can sign up online to reserve a space at an upcoming general information session or call us at 415.202.0770 or email us at admissions@presidioknolls.org to get started now. At the General Information Session, faculty and parents will give a detailed presentation about our school’s practices and philosophy. Visit the PKS School Calendar to see a list of general information sessions for the upcoming school year.

2. Submit your Application Form. You can submit your application online by visiting our online admissions portal. Also, please download a student evaluation form, follow the instructions to fill it out for your child’s current school, and then submit it with your application form. 3. Schedule a play date at the online admissions portal or call us at 415.202.0770 or email us at admissions@presidioknolls.org after you have submitted an application. Admissions play dates provide an opportunity for you and your child to meet and interact with our teachers. These play dates are mandatory for admissions.

4. Sign up for an elementary school readiness assessment. The elementary readiness assessment is a 30 minute one-on-one meeting with an independent child development consultant at our school. Please call us at 415.202.0770 or email us at admissions@presidioknolls.org to reserve a time slot.

5. Sign up for a family meeting. The family meeting is a 20 minute meeting between PKS staff and prospective parents to learn more about you and have you learn more about our school in a more intimate setting. We will be conducting rolling admissions for the 2012-2013 school year, but we strongly encourage you to submit the application by December 31, 2011. We process applications as soon as they arrive.
