ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Our school strives to cultivate an exceptionally diverse family community. Our admissions practices reflect this mission to meet the needs of individual children and families, and to allow children to learn from a rich social community. Each class has its own unique balance of students, and in order to find the best fits for openings in these classes, we look for the specific attributes of a child that would mesh the most naturally with the rest of the class, rather than a child's rank on a waiting list. Because of this practice, it is very difficult to predict an applicant’s chances for admission. However, we will do everything that we can to guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have along the way.
Our admissions process has three main components:
1. Submit an application ( download )

2. Schedule a General Information Session and a Classroom Observation Tour
At the General Information Session our director will give a detail presentation about our school's practices and philosophy. Please call to reserve at space at one of these sessions:
- Tuesday, October 6th, 6-7:30PM
- Sunday, October 25th, 9am-10:30 or 11am -12:30PM
- Saturday, November 7th, 9am-10:30 or 11am -1:30PM
- Thursday, December 3rd, 6-7:30PM
- Saturday, January 16th, 2010 9am-10:30 or 11am -12:30PM
- Saturday, February 6th, 2010 9am-10:30 or 11am -12:30PM
When you attend a Classroom Observation Tour, you will see our students and faculty in action. We will be give a brief introduction to our educational approach, spend a half hour observing our classrooms, take a tour and have time to ask questions. Small group orientations usually occur on Wednesdays at 9:30 AM.
3. Join us for a play date with your child
Admissions play dates provide an opportunity for you and your child to meet and interact with our teachers. These play dates are mandatory for admissions.
